I purchase a server from volumedrive on monday, and it was setup within the hour, but we requested xen + vhcs installed. Before signing up they said they can do both AND make base packages for xen including skeletons so we are able to sell vhcs, webmin, etc etc.
Now once the server was up they had never befoe installed xen, nor knew what it was (of course, after I buy the server...) and said there was too many erros. So they said there is auto installer for fedora core 4, so I said ok install that. After that was installed, xen was install successfully, but vhcs could not be installed, although vhcs says on there site it's possible, but buggy. At this time volumedrive have gave up on me. I asked them to install web-cp (web-cp.net) and webmin as skeletons on xen, aswell as web-cp on the main server. They refused to do so and said they do not support xen. But as a presales question, they said they support xen aswell as making base packages!
Josh, the person who I worked with got a attitude on the phone. Of course I was upset, and so did I. But I am the customer here, the person who was told this can be done, but them left in the dark after I have purchased! This is absolutely rediculous.
Now they say I have to pay $25 disconnection fee because of all the "work" they did, but before signing up they said this "work" came free with the server!
Yesterday I requested installation of web-cp, webmin, as I said above. Today this all happened. They totally changed there mind on there "100% managed, 100% "we install any script" service that they supposively provided".
I am very unhappy and they refuse to give a refund unless I pay $25 disconnection fee.
