I figured with the popular hashtag, name play, and potential presidential candidacy these domains could be valuable. I don't know how much political domains can go for.

To better explain this, Beto O'Rourke is an upcoming Democrat who ran unsuccessfully for one of Texas' U.S. Senate seats against incumbent Ted Cruz. He was very much the underdog, but became somewhat sensational because of his surprising popularity in the polls in a deep-red Texas. He ultimately lost by a healthy margin, but much less healthy than anyone would have guessed 2 years ago.
Now that he has lost, there have started to be rumors of a presidential run in 2020. He is very inexperienced (having only been a Representative) in comparison to other potential candidates, thus still going against the odds.
BetOnBeto captures his underdog nature, shows an endorsement of the candidate, and has wordplay with his name. I own both .com and .org, which is solves a problem for politicians who might have one, but users go to the other (for example, tedcruz.org goes to his rightful campaign website, tedcruz.com goes to a website supporting Beto).
#BetOnBeto is established as a somewhat popular campaign hashtag which developed organically. To my knowledge, no official Beto campaign has used this slogan. There is no trademark on the slogan, so the domains were registered prior to any trademark (which might give some standing to avoid them being taken by the campaign - not sure).
I currently forward the domains to tedcruz.org because I think it's funny. I don't know how much traffic it gets.
BetOnBeto.com/org could gamify campaign donations, in that you place a "bet" (contribution) on Beto. It could also be used to build a mailing list, which in turn could be sold to Democratic mailers.
