What would be the best way to develop DomainTheater.com? A Domains For Sale type site or domain forums or what? I need ideas.

yes, for sale site + forum is easy to do. You can even integrate the two with mods.

vBulletin portal is the mod I believe he is talking about.

It's a fairly decent domain to sell domains. A little flash on the front page showing domains for sale in the spotlight...kind of like a featured preview of what you can find inside of the site if you look hard enough.

I'd go to Google and search for similar sites. Then I'd incorporate elements that I like from other sites into my own. Yeah, I've to agree with others here about offering a forum as part of your site.
