Best Video Editing Software

What is everyone's favorite video editing software? I am looking around for a new program and I needed a video editing program.

I'm on PC and use Premiere Pro 2 (Adobe Production Studio) and Sony Vegas 7. Both are powerful and easy to learn!

For Mac go with Final Cut Pro

Cool, now I just need to get a newer camera since the one I have is really old a bulky. I need a smaller one.

Depends what you need to do with it. Home movie or like a real film?

I'd recommend Adobe Premier for PC for a film and Adobe Premier Elements for something simpler. For Mac, I'd say go with Final Cut Pro for something advanced and either Final Cut Express HD or iMovie HD for something simpler.
