I have created a proxy site with phproxy and i already uploaded it i just want to ask about my domain name, i want to buy now but i want to take everything slow and smoothly cause once i read that domain names that has "proxy" word on it is blocked by some securities like websense.

is there any domain tools suggestion that i can use for my upcoming proxy site?

But be very careful if you're taking "everything nice and slow" as search results get sold. I've noticed domains have mysteriously been registered after searching for them at domaintools.

I search with Moniker as they don't sell domain searches, and i trust them the most.

I think Adsense doesn't like proxy sites due to click fraud. (But i maybe be wrong, i just remember reading that somewhere..), they assume people are using proxies to click on their own ads.

My advice is register a domain as soon as you've decided on a great one before someone else does :)

EDIT: Domaintools DO NOT sell domain searches. I was mistaken.

hahah tnx... and tnx for the advice. maybe those people who do clicks are very greedy. doing clicks on their own ads and google really hate that.

and i also experience that when i searched a domain. like therealproxy.com and later its not available..

The owner of domaintools has stated that they DON'T register domains that people are searching for, so it's the only place that I would trust right now. If someone has seen domains that they search for get registered right away I would like to know about it. Testing should be done anything you thing this might be going on.

I was going to offer to see you my proxyfind.net, but if you think that the word "proxy" is a problem then you won't want it( It has never been used as a proxy site since I have owned it.). Then I would find a domain with a word that means something like "proxy", like "stand-in", "double", "or surrogate" so you still have some of the same meaning and people will remember it.

Alright, here's a tip from my personal experiences with setting up proxies: 1) Do NOT use the words, filter, bypass, proxy, proxies, unblock, tunnel in your domain. 2) Use easy to remember 2 word domains: Mines was SimonSuck.com and it continues to still receive ~40/visits a day after being parked for 6 months. 3) Stay with .com if possible.
