Best methods to successfully advertise an image host?

Hey guys. My image site gets ~300 uniques/day from various celeb picture forums, and I'm wondering if you guys have any marketing or advertising techniques on how to boost the uniques up to 500-1000 every day from other places? My site is www.watermark-it.com and probably 98% of those 300 uniques every day, so far, have been on the view images pages. My ultimate goal is to get at least 10-15 uniques every day on the home page (where you can upload the images).

As uploading images on your site is free, I think you should use that point to promote your site and encourage the people who view the images and ask them to upload and share some pictures which they have. Also as I saw your signature in the post says it all, free watemark and upload service, so you should advertise pointing out this fact.

You should make sure to fill your homepage with "grabbing" content, at the moment I see very little that would entice me to use your service - and most of that isnt aligned properly in internet explorer as well!

first and foremost i believe you need to love your products/services first by using them as your own and encouraging people to use them as well and include them in your forum sig. it would do well also if you promote it via pr or via an article highlighting it's differences and advantage over several file upload site you will see on internet.

I belive offering something unique or combining it with vas (value-added services) can make a difference. HTH
