Hi,

I am looking at starting a Blog in conjunction with my Rural Australian site.

Looking to add on a Blog, not sure where to start.

Who is the best (especially for adsense) : Wordpress, Blogger etc etc

btw it's setup right now, all you can do is install wordpress.

If you have your own hosting and domain....wordpress is the way to go. Its free and has a tremendous amount of templates, modules, and support.

Wordpress is the best blogging solution i have seen and used. They have tons of plugins and such plus its really simple to edit the templates and make a design.

Very good Billy! Good choice of side modules. Another module you might want to consider is "Related Posts". I have had good results from using that to retain readers. Keep on working it.

Cheers mate ... recent posts is on the blog ... or is this something different?

Recent posts shows your last x number of posts. The related posts module shows a list of posts that are related to the post that the visitor is reading.

I cant find a "Related Posts" in my admin panel, is it something I need to download?

Wordpress is best for blogs. For extended features but can still be used as a blog can be drupal or joomla .

It is only compatible to 2.5 my blog is 2.6

I say wodpresss because it completely customizable and you free to advertise whatever you like on your own domain
