A newbee question.

A year ago I received an offer and sold a generic domain in a cc extention for $30.000.

I registered the domain to be developed, not to sell it, as I did with other generic domains that still keep. I am thinking to spend more time in the domainbusiness, but centered in developing the domains that I already bought.

What has been your best sale of domain ?. And the averigae sale ? How much to expect to get a month as a average dedicating half a day time to domaineering ?

Yes, you are right about 30,000 and 30.000. It was sold in 30 thousand american dollars.

Sorry, I prefer not to mention the specific domain, as there is a confidentiality agreement. It is a generic name in the tourism sector and I was beginning to develop it when the offer came.

Yes, it is a country TLD (like domain.countrycode), not a domain.cc (Cocos Islands) nor a domain.com.countrycode

Sorry if I´m not so used to write in the forum and it is a bit difficult to write a reply to different posts.

A couple of years before I received an offer of $20,000 american dollars for another domain (domains.countrycode) but finally the transaction was not completed because they asked for other domains unrelated to the main one, and I prefered to develop those domains in a different area that what they thought I will.

It looks I had been lucky.

It appears that most of the transaction of domains are small (around $100) and not enough to made a living from them.

My best is $100.00 USD .com sale. It was previously purchased by a business for an upcoming project, but I picked it up somehow (not through domain expiration, but that I typed the name the name into godaddy.com manually because somehow I was also interested in the name). The owner contacted me and I sold it for $100.00 USD.
