how high are your server costs?

Surprisingly low.

We own 2 rackshack servers, and only did about 10 GB transfer in August. I project about 100-200 this next month, but I also project the banner revenue to continue to climb, like it has, so it all balances out

I knew at least one person would ask that . I could make a killing selling my software, but I'd also be creating more competition, thus ruining it for my partner and I in the long run.

Has the google ads converted ok with forum traffic?

A lot of the ads seem to have content targeting problems, but several of them target perfectly. The revenue generated justifies the server investment, but it is clear there could be more money to be had with the traffic this network generates. We're going to excercise other advertisers soon.

We're working on an expansion to BBFree that provides free website hosting similar to Geocities. It should definately show some improvement on the content targeted ads.
