It's hard to tell because the TLD is still in embryonic state. There was a .ba sale reported a few days ago, it's the first time I see one.
Simply put, there is no benchmark. My gut feeling (and lack of established market) tells me 4 figures is already a decent offer.

PS: check registry policies, some TLDs do not allow speculative registrations, some may not even allow ownership changes. I am not expecting any particular problem but I am not familiar with .ba.

@Kate, I sold Radio.ba for 4 figures. They allow ownership change. I've just sign paper for ownership change and then get it in the University. And The University is almost in front of my house.

And the renew is very cheap. Just 15€.

This could be a hot potato. I am wondering if Unicredit are aware of this fact. I am not saying you could be in trouble, but having some angry government officials yelling at your is never a pleasant thing, even if they have no case. Or maybe they ditched the name a long time ago and nobody cares.

I've asked that at our University, and it was fine to register it. I don't care about gov, neither they do.

Also Microsoft never get our domains even if it is a trademark. Try to open Microsoft.ba and see the fun.

If you bought this you are playing with fire. Even if nothing happens, these names can't really be used for anything so they are useless liabilities that you pay for every year.

Out of curiosity (I am new to domaining), how do you "get an offer" like you mentioned? Do you reach out to the end user and pitch it to them and discuss from there, or do they visit your domain and submit a Contact form on the landing page?

I would love to be in your shoes of people coming to me waving money in my face!

Ha! You don't care about the gov in a third world country? They'll just take your name in a heartbeat...nothing you could do about it. Or worse, go to your father's business and fine him a gazillion dollars for whatever violation.

Microsoft will one day send an email to the person that registered. After xx days they'll hire the top law firm in Bosnia and then we'll see.

But wait for bank.ba, it's a generic name. Ask for at least 10,000 euro
