I had to remove the script due to an error with some sites.

(using phproxy 0.4)

here is an example:

go to your proxy
type google.com
click google maps

what happens?
for me, it returns to the main page.


here is another example:

go to google via proxy.
click view image on the google logo & copy the url.
close your browser.
open a new browser and paste the url.

what happens?
for me, it goes right to the image. I would assume that it should go to the homepage here instead of the hotlinked image.

Is this happening for anyone else? please post your proxy and let me know if it is working or is not working.

Hello Mike,

Regarding your first problem: The problem when using google maps lies with phproxy, not my mod script, remove my mod script and do the same thing, it will have the same error. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that. It is simply the way phproxy 0.4 has been programmed, it has it's fair share of bugs .

Regarding your second problem: If you copy and paste the url of a proxied image into your browser and go to it, then it will simply show the image, yes. This is NOT a problem. The script only blocks showing images when the image has been linked to by a website (you click on a link to go to the proxied image) or if it is being shown on another webpage.

Nobody goes to the trouble of copying a link off a website, closing their browser and clearing their cache so that there is no referer to view an image. This script WILL block images linked to, or shown on other webpages. I guarantee it
