I was very surprised to realize that the domain dropped on April 21, 2006 was not picked up.

Bandar Seri Begawan is the capital of one of the richest countries in the world Brunei.

So, ok, your opinion? Please do not say "dash" :)

The city itself only has about 46,000 people in it. But, then again, that is in a country of only 374,000 (It is the largest city, and those are last census figures, but old - 1996). Few folks outside some savy world travellers would have any clue where it was. Most would not even recognize it as neccessarily a name of a place. I won't say "dash" ( ) becuase it is infact 3 seperate words when spoken and written. Besides, the term in the .com without dashes specifically says it is not for sale in the title (is a parked page). Not sure if any of that factor hurts or helps any potential use or value.

Negara Brunei Darussalam (Malay official name of Brunei) is considered by many to be a truelly unique country in that it is possibly the only country under a absolute authority monarch that is still considered somewhat of a free country (He has complete power, but isn't said to abuse it it). Its main business is taking the $'s away from English speaking tourists (who gladly give it to the Sultan and his subjects by the truckload - Disney could learn tourism from these folks :imho: ). Matter of fact, despite Malay being the only "official" lanquage, the coutry has the largest % in the world of native-born citizens that speak a second langauge (and that is English...and oddly enough, because of tourism, Chinese Mandarin too..lol). His Majesty Hassanal Bolkiah (offical full name...get aload of this....Ke Bawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Sir Hassanal Bolkiah Al-Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Almarhum Sultan Sir Omar Ali Saifuddin...He must use initials when signing things :p ) is personally worth $40+billion (that is US$). Most of that is from the country's petroleum and natural gas, which by being born in line for the throne, legally all belongs to him. Don't worry, he puts alot of that (otherwise he'd be worth more than that $40billion for sure) back into helping his people. They have a national average income that is by far highest of any nation in the region.

OK..Enough with the history lesson :gl: What is the domain worth? I'd have to say not much (sorry - I hate saying it), since most folks anywhere outside this small country would even know it existed, much less what it means. I rarely give a bad opinion on anything (there is always someone who can use it and make it more popular than the term was before we all knew what it meant...and I don't like hurting feelings, but maybe you can learn from this one - IMHO a bad reg). I just don't see this domain going anywhere....That is, unless you can sell it to His Majesty the Sultan. He can pay nicely for it :$: :tu:

I really don't know anything about this country, but I would like to point out that if they make such incredible amounts of money in tourism, than obviously people outside of the country have heard of it, because someone's going there.

Just did a search on Keyword which shows searches for - - , unfortunately came up a big fat zero, ov gets 10 per day but does not differentiate.

From that I can only see real value in development.

Good luck

Quite honestly development would be needed to bring some value, and it should be targetted locally. Also 2 hyphens tend to kill the name.
Unless you are lucky and the Sultan of Brunei agrees to reach deep in his pockets for you...;) otherwise I don't think this name is worth much more than reg fee.
