Band site..

Hey everyone and anyone.. Uhm, ive been asked to do a mate a favour and create thier band a website. Basically they are a 4-piece heavy metal rock band. I was wondering, if anyone had any ideas for what i should do for the design.. i have most of the content.. some examples or help would be most appreciated.

The sad fact of metals genre! Metal is not all about death and blood, its about the music and the passion. Check out DamagePlans new website ( http://www.damageplan.com ) for what I think is prety cool, Audio Interaction would be nice :D

LOL, bands are as screwed up as psychics when it comes to design. Don't worry they won't listen to a thing you have to say. You'll just have to put up what they want. artistic = bad website

That's why the ones that make it have "MANAGERS".

That band site above that looks so cool - http://www.damageplan.com/ takes 48 seconds for the homepage to load with a 56k modem. (after you get through the hugh flash intro page), That's not including the 2 flash objects, they embedded. I use a 2.4 mps connection and it bogged on me.

I did bands, psychics and churches when I first started out a long time ago. The bands think they're god, the psychics chat with him and the churches want god to pay you.

My advice - don't.

think it should look something like that
dark, grungy, messy etc.

mmm.. finally some blackness in here!
I'd love to help ya out. I'm kinda good with grungy/dusty/dirty looking designes. Check out one of my current big projects, www.swedenmetal.se/default-1.asp (I know, it's very light but it's supposed to be a more original non--but-still metal looking).
