Mine was over several years ago when I finally dumped 99% of my .mobi collection.
Weak extension that died years ago
Baidu is also a trademark
Baidu means "a hundred times," and comes from a line of Xin Qiji's poem Green Jade Table in The Lantern Festival.
"Having searched hundreds of times in the crowd, suddenly turning back, he is there in the dimmest candlelight."
The poem compares the search for a retreating beauty amid chaotic glamour with the search for one's dream while confronted by life's many obstacles. Baidu, then, represents a persistent search for the ideal.
Its still a trademark, the same as Apple and Orange are both fruits but they are both trademarks. Just stay away from company names and weak extensions
They are after you, run.......
Tom Bradys’ Occupation:
Sorry I dont get it??
An obvious trademark in a garbage extension. I think you can do better...
Just because its trademark doesnt mean you cant use it for a generic word..
It depends on how you use the TM
Trademarked are done by classes. You can have apple.com trademark under electronics but someone with apple.net comes in and creates apple company .. apple.com can come take their domain because their trademark is completely different categories.
if u use it as a personal blog talking love or poem , I dont think the baidu company will send a UDRP to u....they really dont care....given u are in such bad extention...and no any nagetive impact with them....not a lawyers suggestion, but just imo.
btw, if talking price, most pro will stay away, but I believe will have some enduser will interesing for this one....like young chinese student may feel it valuable or cool...
Any what do you think he would use this for? If it was Apple.mobi and he started selling Apples, then thats fine, cmon anyone can see why he registered it.
Separate names with a comma.
