Hello, recently I had to contact dotster customer support about the problem I have with my domain purchase.

I contact the customer support by email, they reply it in three days, since I still have concern, I reply the response. Until now, 3 days later, I didn't get any responses.

I try live chat supports, believe it or not the chat bellow took almost one hour without any solutions.

Chat Thread:

Brian T: Hi, my name is Brian T. How may I help you?
Sjarief: Yes, in 28 Feb 2007, I bought 10 .info domain using 77info coupon. The transaction completed with manual approvement from [email protected]. But the price is 2.99 dollars, not 77 cents per domain like you advertise to. Can you help?
Sjarief: hello?
Sjarief: Anybody there?
Brian T: sorry yes i'm here
Brian T: what is your domain name?
Sjarief: some of them are : trupets.info, trurides.info, truhealth.info
Sjarief: hello......
Sjarief: Hello, what are you really doing there?
Sjarief: Hello Brian, Are you there?
Sjarief: HELLLOOOOOOOOOOOO
Brian T: my screen is not responding... are y
Sjarief: I've been waiting for your responses for ages....

I had tried their service, the payment is authorised for 2.99 but your credit card /PayPal account is charged for 0.77 only initially. Waiting to see if the entire amount is charged later.

After long wait... the chat connection was disconnected.

After that I try to connect to chat with them again, got connected with another person. I pasted the previous chat thread, she responded quickly, looking up my account, and my concern get resolved.

The second session take not more than 5 minutes. I wonder was there really bad connection in the first session?

But still, taking 3 days to response customer email is just too long.

Agree; however, there are just about no registrars that reply to emails in fast and comprehensive matter. GoDaddy will get back to you quickly, but their responses are almost always immaterial to your request and/or are canned responses of things you've already tried. Even a registrar renowed for its great customer support (Moniker) took 3 days to get back to me on several of my latest support requests.
