Background repeat only once.

Im having trouble with my template can anyone help.. i want the background to show once then not repeat, just be a colour after it.

It has this code

     <TD COLSPAN=12 background="images/bg1_38.gif" bgcolor="#869399">        </TD>

How can i make it not repeat, i am using dreamweaver.

Change it to:

<TD COLSPAN=12 style="background: #869399 url(images/bg1_38.gif) no-repeat;"> </TD>
