Hi guys, would BabyWeddingDress.com be worth anything?

thanks!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
i said before and i will say it again
if you are not willing to listen don't ask for appraisal if you have your mind set on something and you don't want to hear otherwise just don't ask for an appraisal it is simple.

LOL. Why even bother asking for an appraisal if you are not interested in feedback?

You guys don't understand. Baby here does not mean Baby but your Girlfriend who eventually become your Wife (sorry about that).
Have you ever called your Girlfriend and say "Hi Baby, how are you doing?".

So you asked for appraisals and pov's on the domain, yet you have no interest in hearing views you don't agree with. What is/was the point in asking for appraisals then if you knew you would only want to hear what you want to hear and nothing else?? ...good grief. :xf.rolleyes:

Thanks for your replies. I'm going to let the all the ad's for the keyword speak for itself. If the keyword wasn't valuable there wouldn't be so many ads for the keyword.
.............

Thanks for all the input guys, but I just have to trust what my eyes tell me.. This is a winning niche!

I appreciate the opinions, but with what I know about marketing I just disagree with them. I mean no disrespect :)

You disagree with us, so that means you know the price.

I asked earlier: what do you think it's worth?

Do babies really get married? Because that's exactly the weird picture that pops up in my head when you hear such names. And this association is no good.

1.Its too long

2. 3 worded domains aren't preferred

3. Baby Wedding Dress, sounds like a baby is getting married

4. TopWeddingDress.com managed to get $25, and if I "had" to choose between the two, id rather choose "top", which got $25...which indicates in my eyes yours would go for less, such as a reg fee

The ads are targeting “wedding dress” not “baby wedding dress”.

Too specific. It is not a primary domain that you are going to build a website on.

At best, it is a very small subset of wedding dresses.

My rule of thumb:

If I look up a term in quotation marks in Google, and Alibaba is on the first page of the results, then I will not register the domain. This is the case with "Baby Wedding Dress". Sorry.

And someone above said they would never buy a domain with a term that Alibaba ranks for. Alibaba is one of the richest stores on the planet. If they are in the baby dress industry, that can't be a bad thing.

That was me saying that. When Alibaba (or Aliexpress) is on the first page of my search results, it means that the type of end-user companies I'd like to see, are not present. I don't know if you've ever looked at the descriptions on Alibaba? Alibaba is known for incorrect and nonsense 'engrish' 1,000 character catch all descriptions. Often spam.

That said, I wish from the bottom of my heart that you will match the success of Alibaba.

Cheers.

@luckyJJ

Apparently, the name has a lot of value to you personally. If you're so enthusiastic about this topic, I suggest that you develop the domain yourself. But please think about your opportunity costs as well.

@luckyJJ

Put some faith in those that have been there before you. It'll help you become a better domainer. People are trying to help.

Saying that, I think it's worth very low $xxx to the right buyer, as you need to niche right down nowadays.

@Aaron Allison not even that lets be brutally honest considering op doesn't want to hear it anyway
your name will probably never sell and if it does it will go for xx if your lucky

It doesn't have any value to me other than I'd like to sell it for a profit.

Interesting. What's the domain worth, in your opinion?

I agree that it'll likely not sell. But having built many affiliate websites over the years, I know the depths people go to, to find a niche. You'd be suprised lol

Look who else is on the first page. Esty, Amazon, Target.

Look who is buying ads for that exact term. Etsy, Amazon, Wish,Walmart.

This obviously must be a profitable niche. That's just what it looks like to me.

Who would keep buying ads if they weren't profiting?

Thanks for the insights.

I don't know what it's worth. I think based on the ads being run for that exact keyword term, the search volume and just looking at what's been sold. There are thousands of people buying these products.

I just think the domain is worth more than what some here believe. It's just a matter of opinion.

I'm willing to take offers in my message box if anyone would like to buy it.

If I don't sell it I will just build an affiliate site around it. I mean look at the prices of these dresses. Some are selling for hundreds of dollars.

And someone above said they would never buy a domain with a term that Alibaba ranks for. Alibaba is one of the richest stores on the planet. If they are in the baby dress industry, that can't be a bad thing.

People are always looking for something online. You put any three random words in Google, and you'll see that there is a certain search result for such words. The problem is that you are looking at search results purely, rather than from a business owner perspective.
Exactly, people are searching for ''baby wedding dress'' then Alibaba/Aliexpress shows results, they go and buy and buy it there.
But how many actual small-medium (your customers!) businesses would want to use this exact name in their main website? Close to zero. There is nothing appealing, and extremely narrow niche for somebody to pay for this even $XXX.
At most you can sell it for $XX, if someone decides to put a redirect to their website, and that's only if they don't find a good free hand reg alternative (which I doubt).
Feel free to ''pm'' me if you sell this name (and for how much), but I guess that's gonna be a looooong wait....

Why do you say that? It has 1900 searches per month, and look at all the ads that pop up when you google it.
And other domains with "wedding dress" in the URL sold for good money.

No but people buy wedding dresses for babies. Just google the term. It's nothing but ads when you search for "baby wedding dress". People searching for it are obviously looking to buy a dress for their baby to attend someones wedding.

And there are thousands of people searching for wedding dresses for their baby. Just do some keyword research on it..

Thanks!

No because ads with babies in dresses come up. And look at the google keyword tool search volume for "baby wedding dress" it's 1900. And the CPC is 0.55. People are paying for these ads and every one of those 1900 people searching are looking to buy a dress for their baby.
