Many domainers use babelfish translator to help registering in other languages. I just noticed it has gone from this address:

babelfish.altavista.com

to this:

babelfish.yahoo.com

The page now says:

Welcome to Yahoo! Babel Fish! Please note you have been redirected from babelfish.altavista.com.

Did yahoo buy them or was it always part of yahoo?

In Feb 2003 AltaVista was bought by Overture Services, not long after Overture was bought by Yahoo.
