How does this ovature thing work. I put int "Azreal" and got : 363326 aviv israel tel yafo

and a whole host of others.

I then searched "Azreal" in google.com and got 8020 results.

Whats is the value of this? (the results of overture and google) and how does it help appraise a name?

It appears that Overture is correcting the spelling to " Israel " thus the Domain has no or very little value.

"Search results" can assist in providing some evidence/pattern of the pupularity of other's search requests, especially at OVT. They are NOT type-in's! Google can be effective in locating potential End user "leads", and also can provide a pattern of the popluarity of searched terms (when entered together "in quotes"). Both are additional tools that can be used to help better assess the potential valuation of a specific domain name, IMHO.

Agree! OVT also lumps together plural's and non-plural's, too.
It's simply another tool, as I mentioned.
