Opalxx, I believe it the auction is still running, so you can still bid. Maybe you not high bidder on all of them at this point?

I don't think it's that the prices are low. According to Chris, members are not paying him- and if they do, they want their money back.

Can you close an auction because you are not getting as much as you would like? Incidentally I thought my bid was a perfectly fair price. Or even because you have had bad experiences with other trades? I have pm’d a mod to ask, I have also pm’d Chris to ask if the auction is still running but had no response yet. I must admit I have never encountered that sort of level of dishonesty here but maybe Chris has just been very unlucky, Chris did say he was closing his account but hasn’t done so yet, but to be honest I don’t really know where we all stand at present.

Hopefully he will post to update us all on what he intends to do.

I hope you don’t let a very bad run of luck put you off trading here Chris, I am sure you won’t find most of us that bad.

I don't think the sales rules allow you to "cancel" an auction that is underway for any reason. You start a sale or auction, you stick to the rules you posted at start of the auction and conclude your business in a professional manner.

Call out the people that have not followed he rules or not paid for a bonafide transaction. The MODs and/or community will usually assist in seein that it is setteled fairly or they stand to be banned.

Likewise, you can't cancel an auction in progress! People have spent thier time researching auction names etc to decide if they want to buy.

No I didn’t think so either, the fact you have not been treated fairly doesn’t give you the right to treat others unfairly, or use it as an excuse to close an auction just because you don’t like the prices you are getting, that’s not to say at this stage that Chris is doing either, until we hear from him or don’t as the case maybe it’s only fair to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I am sure if the auction rules are been broken moderators will intervene and take appropriate action, as you say you also have to be fair to those who are spending their time trying to buy names in auctions as well as those wanting to sell.

Anyway I am sure Chris has just got a bit jittery and will prove to be someone who abides by the rules by honouring the auction.

First off my apologies to all affected by this members actions. To get things cleared up I have tried on numerous occasions to get this member to do the right thing. Chris has chosen to not reply and refuse to take care of his business in a professional manner. As a result I have had to close his account as it's not fair to conduct business this way and we won't tolerate it on NP.

Now the affected members I would suggest you leave negative feedback on his profile even though he has been banned. This way nobody takes a chance doing business with this member and has the same outcome. Once again I'm very sorry to all affected but I did all I could in this situation.
