Very good candidate for development.

I'm assuming that most MMORPG's (like Everquest, World of Warcraft, The Matrix Online, etcetera) use the term "avatar" for the online virtual characters. I'd consider the value of the domain contingent on that naming convention.

Developed, I could see it easily fetching mid to high $xxx.

My guess would be mid to high $xx, undeveloped. Developed, it could have a lot of potential, as it is very brandable and easy to remember.
