Sorry for the trouble guys. I checked at Nic.im and found that it shows no whois for CA.im so I thought it's available but when I tried to register through them it says the domain is not available which means they have reserved it. Also to register 2 character domains you need to buy through Nic.im because they only offer 1 and 2 characters but the registration fee is very high.

1 character domain reg fee - $999
2 character domain reg fee - $500

every 1 alpha character is gone, not sure about numerals. price is $1500+ US per year.

I just found on nic.im where it says Premium Rate One Character Domain Name - £995.00 which makes approx $1500 so you are absolutely right. I didn't saw the currency symbol correctly...

Also all 1 alpha characters are gone but 4.im 5.im and 0.im are available.
