I'm looking to sell my photo selling website. I don't have a domain for it, its in a folder of my main website. The sale would include the script plus all of the photographs which you would have permission to sell. I don't have any stats available, and in terms of revenue, it hasn't made much at all, but with the right promotion it is potentially a very profitable business.

You can edit the design if you wish to include adverts. I have not tried it, but i'm sure it is possible. You would need a web design program such as frontpage or dreamweaver.

I would like to place a bid but the auction does not include important details such as end time, reserve price and bid increment. And most importantly, the software licence agreement is as follows, taken from Ktools.net from whom I presume you got the software: (italics my own emphasis)

Outline of the license terms:

Hi, just to clarify a few things, the auction will end on sunday (or beforehand if I receive a suitable bid)
My reserve price is $30 (although I am looking to get more than this for the website)
You can bid whatever price you wish, although I think about $5 would be a suitable increment.

It is the ktools script - and I'm pretty sure that I'm not breaking any license agreements, as the script will only be installed on one domain - I will remove it from my domain when I sell the site. I did ask ktools a while ago about selling their sites, and they said:

"Yes. You can sell a website that is using one of our scripts. You will have to purchase a new license for each site you intent to sell."

I am only selling it once (and it is being removed from my site, so I do not need to purchase a new license), and you do not need to pay for a new license either.

The photos that are included are included with the script. You are allowed to sell them on the website. I do not know what "PD Photos" are.

I hope this clarifys everything.

Just an update for you guys. The policy information regarding the use of the script discussed in this thread is confusing and I believe prone to misinterpratation.

I have been in touch with the Ktools over this today and they had responded to my initial email. However, as there seems to be some debate as to how their policy is interpreted I have asked if they can clarify, so we can avoid future misunderstandings.

Jamie rightly investigated this issue before pursuing a sale here, but the response he received seemed to contradict Ktools policy somewhat, so his post was placed based on the belief that it was a legitimate sale.

As a result of the confusion however, I am not going to run this script. Also, as far as I can ascertain from the responses I have received today, this script cannot be sold on, even if the seller is the genuine owner and no longer intends to run the script himself.

If you have been advised otherwise by Ktools, perhaps you would care to post here. I would guess Ktools may pay a visit to the forum and clarify this officially, but this is a snap shot of a response today from Jim

I have seen elsewhere on here where Ktools has okayed a sale as long as the seller was not going to use the script again. I bought a copy of this script from a scammer and my site was pulled. However, search for ktools and you should find the thread. LBM, you should be fine to use the script as long as the seller is no longer using it.

I am the owner of Ktools.net and I wanted to let everyone know that avizion is reselling our scripts illegally. We are taking legal action against him and anyone else who is found pirating our scripts.

We sell our stock photo and image hosting scripts thru ONLY the following websites:
Ktools.net
MyImageHostingSite.com
MyStockPhotoSite.com

If a ktools script is purchased from anywhere other than those 3 sites it is an illegal copy. If an illegal copy of our script is found running on any server we will shut the site down and pursue legal action immediately.

This was when another guy was selling the script, the same guy that sold it to me.
