Hello, as many of you have been aware, the user alaxsxa has been denying the many accusations against him that he is a scammer. For more information about this, please read the ENTIRE thread located at http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=97722 .

Well, here is where it gets good. After doing some research on his site, I noticed that he has ALREADY UPLOADED all of the images that we submitted but he has not yet actually made it visible to the public on his site. YOU MUST GO AND READ THE ENTIRE THREAD (link is above) AND LOOK AT EVERY SINGLE ENTRY IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO ALREADY. THEN PLEASE VISIT http://www.alaskanweb.net/imageslogo/logo/ AND LOOK AT EVERY SINGLE IMAGE THAT IS IN THAT FOLDER (he tried to disguise the last few by calling them "free.jpg" etc. BE PREPARED TO BE SHOCKED.

Guys, we finally nailed him and now we have proof. I'm looking forward to hearing all your comments.

- Matt, 170 Designs

P.S. Mods, please make this a sticky, temporarily. I feel that it is important enough to do so. Thanks

UPDATE: alaxsa took the link down. If you did not see it, just believe and l0zo, who did get to see it before he took it down:).

Jeter, it pertained to this forum, fyi. The people in this forum would be most interested considering it was such a recent contest.

adiboy, as it says in my original post (the "UDPATE" at the bottom), alaxsa viewed this post and immediately took it down. As you can also see, he stopped trying to defend himself in the actual contest thread because he saw that I proved him wrong. But you can trust me and l0zo that it was once up there and we both witnessed it.

Thanks,
Matt

I too saw all the logos on his site that he had no right to upload. Shortly after this thread was started, he removed them all.

Wow just read that thread and i seen some great work. Sorry guys. I really thought that work was great. This guy should be banned. I always try to check the rep of a person before conducting business. Especially if they have little posts.

Best of luck

I'm not sure as to what his explanation is for this, but we've done several sites for him, and he's always paid us promptly and fairly (to a sum of a few hundred dollars worth of services).

So if a person posts 24/7 on a forum, they're trustworthy?

I can think of a LOT of people here who merely post for the NP$, that I personally don't find credible enough to do business with.

Well not like that but i'll trust somebody that has 500 posts to someone who has 5. I'll also look at his previous posts and decide.

How low... People worked hard on those logo's, and he just steals them. That is why you must always remember to have a "Sample" watermark all over the image.

I had a transaction with him, only 30 np$ but everything was fine. However I do not want to deal with him anymore <_<

I have filed a dynadot complaint against him at www.dynadot.com :

Hello,

I am vip-ip from a well-known forum board www.namepros.com dedicated to domain names, web design, web hosting, and other online busineses. Recently, our forum member "alaxsxa" has started a contest, in which web-designers had to make logos for his web-page, http://www.alaskanweb.net. He promised to pay for two different logos, $35 each. At the end of this contest, he claimed that a winner has been chosen and notified, and the payment has been sent to him. However, a NamePros investigation showed that alaxsxa has not paid anyone for any of the logos presented, but still put them up on his web-site. According to NamePros etiquette, the work is considered copywritten by the original creator until it was paid by whoever requested the contest. Everyone who entered the contest, including me, have confirmed that we have not gotten a payment from alaxsxa. Now, he is using our work without our permission, which is really getting NamePros members mad about this guy "alaxsxa".

I do not see http://www.alaskanweb.net/ use any of the images that I myself have created yet, but they might appear later on. I am not filing a complaint against him for my graphics, rather than our NamePros community.

You can find the contest thread here: http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=97722
You can find this scammer's thread here: http://namepros.com/showthread.php?t=98948
You can find stolen logos here: http://www.alaskanweb.net/

Please take this into action, as members from the NamePros community dedicate their expensive time into this, and everyone, including me, does not appreciate their high quality work being stolen.

Thanks in advance.

I hope I did everything right :)

"Official" Scammer. It sounds odd to me. Like somebody went to scammer school and graduated.

Well... he's official now.

:hehe:
