Hello everyone,
what do you think about this one?
This is the only .tv name that I purchased this year.
Best Regards,
fleaking
As for resale value alone, I would say not so great.
As for resale value alone, I would say not so great ($25-$50-ish) in the D2D Aftermarket but as for a potential EndUser I could see a nice DNJournal type of sale, especially to a Company that specializes in a multiple of product infomercials.
I think that there would have been a number of people willing to pick this up at the price released so I disagree on your D2D evaluation
The fact that this is not a trademark and really part of common language makes it very memorable.
Could be used in the same way as the last Aisle is used at every walkgreens... to sell mighty putty, the spaghetti pan and various other late-nite items.
P.S. Vito:
My team have just out and out sucked this year.... sorry about Cutler.
Great Name!
I really like this one.
The first thing I thought of was any of those infomercials we have seen late night. There are many products that have 30 minute commercials and of course 30 second commercials. They all use this catch phrase as their motto/brand awareness to show that their product has been advertised on tv already.
Good Luck!
Vito
I don't understand your assumption. I'm not a tv fanboy and/or one that believes .tv is better than tv.com. That said, few tv.coms make sense to me other than defensive regs to .TVs. I did say reseller. I'm sure there are other resellers willing to pay more, but they would be harder to find than the end users willing to pay much more imo - Very few (meaning varies greatly) tv's selling for that $ among domainers.I don't understand how the .TV version can be appraised between $25 - $500, by .TV fanboys, who believe .tv is better than tv.com
So one is not better than the other but "few tv.coms make sense"?I'm not a tv fanboy and/or one that believes .tv is better than tv.com. That said, few tv.coms make sense to me other than defensive regs to .TVs.
EDIT: BTW, I am a proud TV domain fanboy... who views tv.com and .tv as interchangeable.
The buy of the year, IMO.
I assume you know AsSeenOnTV.com sold for $5 Million! ... back in 2000!
I don't understand how the .TV version can be appraised between $25 - $500, by .TV fanboys, who believe .tv is better than tv.com
At the very least, one would think the owners of the tv.com would pay far more than $500.
Off the cuff, I would appraise at 40k to 150k. (Though I would target a prime end user and ask for a Mill)
The term, however, has lost its 'special products' connotation... as internet TV means virtually any product can now claim to be "as seen on TV".
