It's not the .com but its the .co, which is TLD and are a popular domain extension for startups, companies, etc.

(its also and shorter by one character! ;) )

AI is a exploding industry. What would be a realistic valuation for this domain? Asking for a friend.

you were saying? lol. i i rest my case
Hi

you incorrectly quoted me.

however, that statement was a result of your "salty" replies.
folks feel like,
since you know it all, duh,
then go give yourself, your own appraisal.

i asked again about traffic, which you still didn't answer

imo...

I can take the good with the bad. I think you are missing my point - some of these responses have nothing to do with appraising a domain - in fact, saying it's "too long" when its literally the only version of that industry word, or "type it in 3 times in a row"... or a .co "limits its celling" well no $hit, I already know that. If I had the .com I wouldn't be posting about it here obviously

not to mention some of these responses are from (what looks like) domain name business owners with websites that have lots of alternate domain extensions and long character domains for sale on them...lol go figure

Not sure how that would would work. given that those who actually provide useful responses I upvote and acknowledge

I'm not, in fact I think you are my friend. I'm just trying to get so useful feedback, which I got from a few, so I'm good - peace out

this just proves u cant take the bad. of course the name is long. and co is better than xyz and most others but it's still hard sell no matter what keyword...

The .com has a laughable asking price. I would value it at no more than 500k USD, and even at that price it might take a long time to sell.
The .co value is a fraction of that, but realistically anywhere from 1k to 9k USD.
These rough estimates assume ~50% chance of making a deal over a 5 year period.

It's a great domain, obviously highly valuable, but doesn't look aesthetically pleasing in my opinion with the 'L' and 'i' together (ArtificialIntelligence).

Exactly.
It's clearly an ultra-premium domain(albeit hype-driven), hence my 500k USD valuation.
But like you stated, it has aesthetic and practical problems.

Looking at historical sales around the 10m USD mark, they are all vastly shorter and superior to the unwieldy ArtificialIntelligence com.

In fact, I would consider many known 'recent' ~500k USD domain sales to be superior. Of course, the owner could always get lucky.
But to be in the top 10 most expensive domains? No way.

I own:-

(please don't type the domain in full).

But when i bought the domain, i looked the ArtificialIntelligence dot com domain as obviously its similar aswell as looking at other domains like VirtualReality dot com.

I didn't really like ArtificialIntelligence dot com when i did my research on it and not something i would ever go all out to own.

But obviously Ai is monstrous so it wouldn't surprise me if it sold for millions, its obviously an highly valuable asset that I'm sure would have received substantial offers for already - But think your valuation of it due to aesthetic issues we've talked about is fair.
