question Are older .com domains worth more? (24 year old domain)

I have some domains that I had registered back between 1996-2000.
They're just sitting on parking landing pages. Not really doing much.

Will a domain being 24 years old add value when I list it for sale? Or is the age irrelevant.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Even if you had registered hfiurgfsfbruhuhbv.com 25 years ago, it would still be worthless.

25 years ago, domains cost $70 to register, so no one would've registered hfiurgfsfbruhuhbv.com

Otherwise, valid point.

Not necessarily. Trends change with time so certain names that might have had value then won't now.

Generic words will always have value regardless of when they were registered.

The assumption is that the first names to be registeredwere the best so old names must be good but that is a very broad assumption.
