domain Are 3 letter domains with .me extenstion worth anything?

Are these domains worth anything? I have one just wondering if they have any value above the register fee?

well it depends what they spell out if its something like msg.me for example then it would be worth something but if its like xyz.me not untill .me's become as populaur as .coms and are you really gonna keep paying reg fee untill then?

I never understood the whole thing about treating domains like commodities, i.e. LLL/LLLL and all that nonsense. It entirely depends upon the name - pay.me/sex.me are obviously far superior to xyz.me!

I think .me is good for hacks like that, but a name like pizza.me just look and sound strange.

I wouldn't bother buying any .me names (unless I could get hold of something like pay.me!)

For the record I would buy XYZ.me would be great for geopositioning/plotting peoples positions or the likes, it also is quite unique on a slightly lower level than ABC, it would be as recognisable memorable by anyone who uses the alphabet.

However for random letter combinations its mostly speculation. While there have been sales at sedo of LLL.me which have seemingly random letters. going for low mid xxx. There are thousands regged which have not sold. Which in my opinion will just be making the registrars money.. I have a few (10) reasonable ones (pronounacable, dictionary, unique or meaningful) which have recieved no attention. but will be held untill I work out how .me is going to pan out.

If your hand regging I dont think it will be a good way to get rich quick!!! most of the good ones will have been cherry picked and the LLL dictionary words which collectors seem to like have been taken . If your selling let us know how you get on in the .me discussion thread.
