This reeks of software piracy, 'apps' is basically codeword for 'free' software it has been ever since I first logged on to #warez on irc in 1996.

Download.com is official and legal. This name has reg fee value, even if you somehow developed a site featuring legitimized new 'Start-Up' software the name is Botched, let it go. waste of reg fee.
