IANAL, but she's a public figure, so I think that makes proving intention to slander very tough, at least in US courts. for example the south park episode i mentioned above got away with it fine, because it's considered satire and thus protected speech.

Well actually she is a known figure and alot of people may get offended by the stupid prefix.

Plus, I don't think any reputable businesses will patronize the site because it would then endorse the 'stupid' prefix.

Also, what angle or theme can the site have.

Have u tried sillyparishilton or something in that line to see if it's available?

I wonder how many people are offended by [STOP READING IF YOU'RE OFFENDED BY ADULT DOMAINS] f**kparishilton.com? It's been regged since 2003 and sells adult-variety video. She might own it herself, for all I know. And yes, sillyparishilton.com is available. I appreciate everyone's opinions on this; it might have been better in the Domain Discussion thread. Can anyone put a value on it?

Unless you develop it, I don't see much value. When I try to evaluate a domain, I try to ask- would anybody say, "I just have to have that domain!" In this case, I can't imagine anybody wanting it unless it has a site already.
