Did you see the beyond*the*hunt tv website? I mean honestly, if I had a line of hunting equipment I'd name it Beyond and buy your domain. That tells me there is value there. It has a good feel and rolls off the tongue well.

I'd invest in a nice splash page and market it to manufacturers looking to setup a new line and ask low xxxx. Otherwise to resellers high xx to low xxx and see if you can get a "bite".

I have never seen the show. And quite frankly I am a bit embarrassed how I even came into the domain as I am trying to stop doing those very things . . .

I was reading requests section here at NP. Someone was inquiring about Hunting domains. I quickly started to think about hunting, fishing, camping, the great outdoors basically! I tried a couple of combinations and "thought" BeyondHunting was a name that fully grasped hunting, but goes beyond hunting. Maybe families camping. So I go to my hunting store, and pick up not only bullets and came, I pick up tents and lanterns etc. I thought beyond hunting could be a safari adventure company. So were hunting, but this experience will be way beyond just hunting.

So I thought there was enough flexibility and meaning to go for it!

But Im trying not to do that kind of thing anymore! That is 5 minutes of my life I can't get back, and then there is that pesky reg fee!

I really don't think you're stepping on any toes with the domain. Their "show" doesn't seem overly established and they're named a bit differently. I think it's a great name! Now, finding that end user is the trick!

Beyond Hunting: Maybe hunting vacation use. Or maybe environmentally conscious hunting, in other words, something extra instead of just old fashion hunting.

beyondcruises.com Sold for 2k a couple of months ago and might be the inspiration for the reg. 'beyond' fits voyages well.

We will keep this between us and the NamePros community . . . my wife might not like me interacting with you! LOL . . . ya know BeyondAppraisal sent me into idea name mode. I am not kidding when I tell you I had 20 names ready to register. I did my Google keyword search. Honestly, I'm not sure if anyone has ever said what a good search result is! Most of my 20 domain names had searches in the tens to hundreds of millions. Just the keyword! Then I added my quotes for exact match! Surprisingly there was not much drop-off in searches. I think that is a very good thing, right? Next I went to Namebio. This is where the dwindling down took place I went from 20 to 2 hand regs!

I passed on BeyondSexual.com and BeyondBisexual.com I think those would have been the biggest searches . . .

Thank you. Beyond Pals could be romantic for sure! Could be more sexual in nature as you suggested!! Apparently, and who knew . . . Pals makes up several acronyms and is also used by a few businesses. I was thinking more romance when I regged it. But google quickly showed me how narrow my scope was!

Don't over-rely on google search... Instead see if you can find any company or online project with similar name...

Again, it is not that your names are bad, it is that for the same money you can get ones with better chance of selling.

For example, I hand registered from @NameClerk.com great list ElpasoCakes.com, SyracuseMall.com, MonetizeSite.com, FutureRole.com etc. and those names don't require much explaining.

Thank you. It is work in progress. Still need to optimize loading speeds, work on storefront etc.

By the way, I saw you registering lots of random vr names. This the niche where you either have to have killer names, or know people/companies that can buy medium quality ones. I registered few hundred good quality ones a year+ ago, but dropped most, as, again I can see better return in usual brandable names etc.

I am saying there is a learning curve. You are doing fine with learning curve, but if you rush to buy many of the same class without trying to sell one or two, you'll collect lots of inventory and incur lots of costs. So, if you want to test VR, buy 5, try to sell and see if it works.
