Hi everyone!

I am new to domain buying and I have purchased over 40 sites. Two of them have earned a little revenue parked with Sedo (which I am still trying to figure out if Sedo is a good place to park).
The ones I seek an opinion on are: lendingskies.com and yescreditloans.com

A little data: Lendingskies.com has earned $8.31 with a CTR of 11.76% and yescreditloans has earned $6.75 and has a CTR of 28.57% (data from about 15 days parked).

I think that is ok? I do not know how to measure good parking results (yet)!

I appreciate any help, advice, etc as I learn domain management. I think it is so much fun (it has me up at night as you can see if this time stamped! If not--it's 1:55 am!

Thanks much,
Tina B.

Mid XXX (bad credit loans, payday loans, other)

I see a lot of "yes" orientated loan companies out there, that's the downside. A whole bunch of them on Google, hard to differentiate. Glad you're having fun with domaining (I do too). Never really bothered with parking, personally. However, if you're making it work, that's great, IMO. Welcome to NamePros

Thank you Jhm! I appreciate the feedback. I am having a lot of fun. It is an addictive thing. Now, if only I can learn how to make money having this much fun... :)

Jhm,

What do you think about the domain: goldtk.com?
I grabbed this one yesterday on Sedo as an expiring domain.

Thanks again sir!

Patience, dedication, knowledge, a good network, a hint of luck...and a chunky budget. If you have that nailed down, you're doing better than the vast majority of domainers. I've done domaining for around a decade now, but it isn't a full time gig for me. Love being in the community, plenty like-minded people...feels like home!

With regards to this other one, little value. If it happened to be "ticker", that would be the improvement. The "TK" makes little sense to an outsider, without an explanation (if you have to explain a domain, it likely isn't good). IMO

I appreciate that. It will help me learn going forward. I did look up tk and what it could indicate. It is some country code for New Zealand. It is also a measurement. So, I went for it. I don't understand the process of buying domains with random letters and I am unsure why it is done. You are very wise and I appreciate it. These of little value I will sell off.

With regards to Australia, if "aus gold" or "gold aus"...this is immediately understood as "Gold in Australia", so would be acceptable (Aus Gold, Low / Mid X,XXX easily). Punchy domains that are 1 and 2 words max in "dot com", with truly understood meaning are the ones that have the best chance in the market

PS Anytime, just sharing my 2 cents :xf.smile:

Thanks again Jhm. You know the way I see this...I spent $15.99 on it. If I sell it for $200 that's awesome. If I can get mid x,xxx as you say...this is a great investment gig! ;)

I could do this all day long!

Yeah, again only if it was "Aus Gold". For yours, see what offers come your way
