1.It seemed like a good domain to pick up considering that Japan is a pop cultural behemoth with lots of social capital. 2. The word invariably shows up when you're learning about Japan. 3. The word pops up often enough in english and non-english spaces that it should, theoretically, be valuable. I need a second opinion though.

I know that .jp is really popular, but I know that there are some .com domains used too.

But given its recent registration, and that nihonjinron.jp isn't registered I'm 90% confident in that it's worthless.
