Apple is cracking down on iPhone sites??

Try google the keyword iphone and you get bunch of results whose domains has iphone on them but that's gonna change soon as apple lawyers are getting aggressive in guarding their precious iPhone TM as example to what happen to everythingiphone.com

Im an Apple fan and I just started a fans forum site ifans.net and i just hope that steve's lawyers will not chase me too

unless apple starts making fans and calling it an ifan, you should be fine. the main reason apple can go after those iphone domains is because of trademark violation, of which your ifan isn't (at the moment, anyway).

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but i just acquired IFONES.COM due to the fact , as mentioned above, Apple is "fine" with iFone being used for iPhone sites.

Whats even better is that there are a steady stream of type-ins that seem to be looking for iPhone related info.

I had several iPhone sites but decided against keeping the TMed names based on Apples move to make owners change their developed sites names.

Anyway, figure IFONES.COM is a NICE pickup based on allowed use.
