Apple going after A.pl

Sounds like they are salty that they lost out on their domain hack...

I still think this should be a non-issue as the logo (IMO) looks nothing like Apple's.

What if there was a legitimate company in greenland called goo? Google would probably try their best to pry goo.gl

Just for the record since nobody else has said it, Google actually does own goo.gl

I honestly think Apple could give a $hit about the companies logo.

They know it is and never will be a threat.

Apple is probably just after the domain in so many words, and is taking steps to possibly obtain it.

If Apple came out and offered $xx,xxx or even $1xx,xxx to the owners of A.pl, they would laugh knowing where the offer was coming from.

Business is business, and Apple is the big bad wolf that will blow your house down.

Apple can be drawn in many different ways. So many other companies still use Apple in their logo:

A.pl got one of their Office Admin to do the logo and now they're paying for it.

The company is NOT using that logo. That logo is a prototype at best. Look at their current site, and look at the wayback machine. They have never used that logo as their official logo.

You should calm down and read the articles related to this issue. I never said a.pl used it as their main logo.
