I am a fan of .US, but I don't see a typo like this having much value.

I am also sceptical about typos. But appartments.com is valued at $81,000 at Estibot.

And besides most of the extensions are taken including those less popular.

The main value of typos is potential traffic, since no reputable company will fully develop a typo domain.

Apartments.us is a Parked.com page. It shows no traffic on Alexa or Compete.

Being a typo + .US is not going to get traffic.

Can see much value in this other than to the owner of the correct spelling, if/when they fully develop it.

I sold a typo of a .us domain, for $80 or so, the new owner dropped it and it was available for reg fee again.

This keyword is in the to 10

And i also have a typo of a .us website which gets 3-4k uniques per week.

so unless it's a trffic typo, which theres not many of, then theres not to much value in unless like said above, the owner of the correct spelling need it.
