Apache trouble

With someone's help I sat up Apache on my computer :D PHP and MySQL, too.
Only works on my internal IP, though. My router is hooked up, Apache is configured, everything... works through no-ip.com. Only accessible from my computer, but not any other one.

What should I do?

P.S.: I'm not sure if Comcast allows ports 80,81, or 8080... I'm on 81.

Make sure your router is sending all port 80 traffic to your server computer.

Go to http://192.168.1.1/ to configure your router.
You can get your IP in comand prompt with ipconfig.

Done that. Looks like my ISP blocks ports 80, 81, 8080... I'll try 8181, 8282, 8383 today.

I have Comcast too and my server is running fine. Maybe different location, different rules... good luck though.

I though perhaps my modem's set up to block all port 80 trafic .... Cuz my router's forwarders are set up properly. Any idea on how to get into Terayon TJ700x models?..

I just had a quick look at the TJ700 installation manual and it doesn't seem to mention any sort of port blocking features. It would surprise me that it would be at the cablemodem level... especially since it doesn't seem to have integrated router/firewall type of features.

Do the Comcast TOS specifically forbid setting up servers behind the cablemodem? ... If so, it could be hardcoded (port blocking) at a number of points... even within the cablemodem - and it is unlikely to be documented.

My comcast service allows it. vip-ip, call up comcast and ask just to make sure though.

I use no-ip DNS service for it, I wonder why it glitches :$

Anyways, new question: when another computer from my network downloads files from my server, only 2 at a time are available. Why is that? Whare can I change this?
