I just read this:

http://www.internetnews.com/xSP/article.php/3461871

I don't see AOL taking this market over, nor do I see them gaining much ground in the area.

Just wondering, do any of you use AOL? to search that is, regardles of wether or not you are a customer of theres? I don't, and more than likely never will!

:)

Last time I checked AOL is still using Googles results so why use AOL when you can use Google with less ads and its cleaner?

AOL needs their own search results to help diversify the market evenly.. instead of Google providing all the results. At least Yahoo & MSN have their own results now.

It sure sucked when Yahoo was using Googles results-
There is nothing worse then working on a site endlessly only to find out Google dropped you or had a hicup and your site drops for 3 months.

However you look at it, Google is going to have to work a little harder now. It seemed like before, no one wanted to take a shot at overtaking Google, but now the big companies are trying to do so.

Yes. And the one think I find so interesting, is how far behind everyone else is. Google keeps coming out with new "products" left and right. And it seems like everyone else is just standing there saying "hey why didn't we think of that". But now that some of these other companies are starting to realize that they just can't hope they make it off there name, its going to be an interesting year for search engins, IMHO!

B-)

Competition will keep Google honest, or so the saying goes. Who has a better chance to come close to Google's search accuracy -- AOL or MSN? :)
