Hi,

Has anyone had experience with iPowerweb's hosting. I am considering them on a rather large project. Would like some input good-bad or?

Thank you in advance for your comments!

I have them and they are ok,better than my last host.
Support is fast, have not had any issues.
Just resigned with them for 3 more years so I am happy.

So jack, thats your first and only post? Its just odd that someone would join and support a host and stop posting...

Hi. I have used them for several years on California.biz. They are better than my last host: Interland, but not exemplary. I had occasional email problems the first 1-2 years that seems to have been resolved (no prob in over a year). I would rank ipowerweb a solid 7/8 out of 10. If you are looking for the best price/value ratio, then I have to recommend GoDaddy.com. For the money, their servers are very fast as is the ftp access. Also very reliable, nearly 100% up time.

Life is full of irony: Within 24 hours of posting this, the IP address on one of my GoDaddy sites was mysteriously set to incorrect number causing that site to no longer resolve. So I will modify my endorsement to say 90% up time. :]

I purchased dedicated server hosting with Ipowerweb, but it took them two weeks to deliver. I told them to charge monthly, they charged for six months... Not impressed at all.

They are better than my last host: Interland

That would be true in this instance too. But Interland/Hostik really is the pit of idiocy, so its not a compliment to Ipowerweb. Man, even my grandmothers hosting is better than Interland/Hostik.

Perhaps it would be wise consulting a review site such as http://webhostingjury.com/reviews/iPowerWeb or webhostingtalk forum to judge for yourself
