Thank you so much for the amazing input. I didn't pay attention that some of them are "unique hobbies" as you said and hence less probability for buyers. Will definitely think about this in the future. Thanks again
Happy to help! I think it's very normal to buy names that draws us in when we first start. That was the case for me too! ππ
What really jumpstarted my honing was reading some OG's posts and visiting namebio.com. It brought me a better sense of what does sell.
And you'll be surprised at all kinds of skills people have on top of collecting domains here. The ones that lasts are the ones with not only great insights and experiences but a whole ton of patience!
The reg fees will add up pretty quickly. Which means most domaineers are only willing to hold onto names that really are worth it. So sometimes, if you're willing to dig through their list, you can pick up a domain name that might not be A+ quality but still good enough to flip so you can use that (profit) money to buy better names to upgrade your portfolio.
Or even develop a website yourself! Seen a couple of people do that here as well. Anyways, sorry for the ramble but your post really resonated with me. Must be the things we're both drawn to and I only wish the best for you in your future π
