The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Since you showed your Analytics traffic, 5 minute site audit:

- Referral traffic - probably all referrer spam (click on it to see). Your link profile is very weak.
- What keywords does Google show you getting impressions for? SEMRush shows 6 terms, but all ranking p6 or lower. 5 related to El Salvador, the other is Yaxha
- Traffic appears to be going to the El Salvador and Guatemala pages, not your home page. Double check this in Analytics.

- Rewrite your copy - I see entire sentences copied from Wikipedia (and other sources that were used). That will hurt you. Badly. Find better sources, less commonly-known information. Don't copy, cut and paste. Research and write unique articles, Cite your sources.
- Why are some of your pages indexed as http and others as https? (Google search for site:ancientmayanruins.com). HTTPS isn't configured properly, so none of those https pages are reachable from search (without a big warning screen)
- Why is some copy in Spanish and some in English? (ex. Dzibanche) Fine to have a translation, but confusing to mix and match without warning!
- You need links. Quality over quantity.
- Too many internal links per page - that confuses people and you dont' have the link equity to support it. Save that right sidebar for 3-4 featured locations. Choose locations that convert for you or where people tend to go most after the home page. I would make El Salvador and Yaxha two of them.
- Adsense isn't targeting well on most pages. Consider replacing at least 1 block with a travel affiliate search box.
- There's no information about the site, why it exists, who's behind it. What data you collect and what you do with it, etc. Trust factors matter.

- Referral traffic - probably all referrer spam (click on it to see). Your link profile is very weak. OK, I know that

OK, I will rewrite all posts

OK, I know, I will search for more info and translate all and make a new rewrite.

DONE, I reduced the amount of Popular posts from 20 to 9, and just left Guatemala and El Salvador category

- Adsense isn't targeting well on most pages. Consider replacing at least 1 block with a travel affiliate search box. OK, will look for some afilliate search widget

- There's no information about the site, why it exists, who's behind it. What data you collect and what you do with it, etc. Trust factors matter. OK, will ad this on Frontpage or somewhere

Yeah - occupational hazard. I'm nosy - lol.
Also, get Yoast or All In One pack so you can optimize title tags, set meta descriptions, etc. Descriptions aren't used for ranking but they're your "sales pitch" to get people to click on you in the search results.
Hope this all helps - it should, but this is travel and you're up against big authority sites and smaller established tourism sites targeting the area and this particular niche. Good Luck!

Well, this website will have something that doesnt have any of all those "mayan world" related websites.
All posts you see it is just to have some idea and to help me not get lost, so I dont care too much about thier unique or not unique content now. The most important thing is just have there at least some basic content :)
I have 2 almost similar project and another one is more complicated, bigger than this one.
I also dont care to sell this project (maybe) but continue with the second one that will include also mayan routes and more
