I agree - reg fee. Simply to many available CityCountry.US at the present time. Even these more tld-appropriate names are still free:

lol, I know RR.. thats why I qualified it with my thinking on the extention and it's use.

Im gonna build it. With my wife, I can build it in both languages and see what it does

IMO.. spending time, effort, money for ParisFrance.us development is not worth that much of your investment Lee. But I see some average overture count http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/?term=paris france&mkt=us&lang=en_US would be nice for Travel SEO use...
