I recently grabbed this expired domain name.
What could this name be worth?
Please give input.

what does it mean?

The name as itself is probably worthless, as I cannot see anything it could mean! ;) sorry

570 back links in AltaVista will certainly aid in increasing the value but I too had no idea what amort meant until I looked it up: Amort means to โ€œutterly cast downโ€. Iโ€™m still at a loss as to what it could be used for but Iโ€™ll appraise at $15 to $35 retail and $100 to $125 to an end user, I arrive at this only because itโ€™s an actual word and its short but again it is also extremely obscure.

I see you aren't taking your time or looking at all .... :|

This is a somewhat popular term and could be sold among bankers , loan brokers , realtors etc .... - and the fact that it is Short , Easy to remember , and Dot Com should give you an upper hand ;)

@ Google = Results 1 - 100 of about 122,000 for amort
@ Wordtracker = amort 14.0 /day
@ Overture = amort 20.2 /day
@ Overture PPC = (Advertiser's Max Bid: $0.25)
@ Overture Search with extension = amort.com 0.9 /day or Searches done in July 2005 = 28 amort.com

I'd say low xxx$ as a starting point but could see it going much higher to an end user in the home financing market - Nice Name :tu:
