If I spell out what I have "heard" happened - There's a darn good chance that someone in here will go out and do it or at least try ! - and to me .... It's not worth the risk -

I did read that other thread and it was concluded that protection steps outlined there are not 100%. basically, even if you lock your domain, it cna still be stolen. The only way I can think of how this might happen is if you got someone's userID and password to their registar account and logged in and transfer/push all the domains to your own account.

So basically, if the only way a crook can steal your domain is to have the userID and pass to your account with your domain reg, then sorry to tell you, but that is not enough info for me or anyone ot go out and steal domains.

At any rate, I think it is an insult to the NP community at large to say that such important info should not be and will not be exposed because, in short, the community at large is not a trustworthy one in the eyes of both the community and the owners of the NP forum.

haha, there is no tutorial on how to steal domain names

If you want to learn how to steal a domain name, i suggest getting a php book for dummies

Its all done with the domain provider api, there is MANY glitches on many many api's. All you need to do is be bothered to read the api code and find the glitches. be honerable and point them out or you can do tha Illegal thing and use it for self advantage (unrecommended!)

You need a SOLID programing background on cgi,php etc.

People also do this by gaining access to your admin email address and click on the Forgot Password button and there you got admin access of a domain name!

I hope this post will stop all asking this same question! There is NO easy way to anything.
