Was just wondering about others thoughts on this:

American Flights (dot) net

Correct spelling, correct grammar.

2400 exacts this month and 800 locally in England.

Av. Cost per click is $3 and the competition is high.

All major extensions are taken.

I did have some reservations with how many times it has changed hands in the past, but all its competition is parked on the other extensions which means the way is clear and for the exact search on those keywords it does come out tops, so worth a punt?

I think the "(" and the ")" characters kill this one. IMO.

A-m-e-r-i-c-a-n a-i-r-l-i-n-e-r is an airliner name, people might be searching for that one IMO. It's the worlds second largest passenger airliner. But yours is way different from the above name IMO.

Mid $xx to High $xx IMO => Everything happens (and is being pushed) online in Airlines Industry.

If you develop it can surely get you more visitors, more money due to the generic-ness of this domain, and the extension ".net". CPC is valid only then, with 1,000 uniques a month at 4% clicks, it will earn 12$. if it's 10K visitors => 120$ a month, and it's not tough to get 10K-50K uniques in US, UK, Canad, Europe:imho:.
