I'd go for very high $X,XXX to very low $XX,XXX. The only negatives are that American isn't a separate language like English.info or French.info so you don't have that language angle. However, that is more than offset by the global impact of American culture which make it 5-10 times more valuable than, say, Canadian.info. I'd hold onto it or develop it if I were you because .info has the potential to carve out a dominant extension niche for information provision that even .com won't be able to match and that neat fit between keyword, extension, and usage is only just starting to be reflected in .info prices.
