Back 2 Basics :
America was discovered or invaded ?
I think both.
What I mean by this was; they found the place then noticed the place has already been occupied.
America was first discovered by what we call "Indians". These were various people of Asia who crossed the Bering Strait into nowaday Alaska and went south, and east in the Americas
I think, Indian people has some Asian looks...
history is written by the victors.
It was the biggest genocide ever!
They had to discover it first then invade.
Now that the whole world is discovered, they look for undiscovered issues to invade.
Should we sue the invaders ?
I often wonder what would have happened if the American Indians banded together to fight of the westerns as soon as they landed. The Iriquios nation tried later and failed. We used one tribe against another for our benefit at the time. The Spaniards landed with an army most places they went, So I believe eventually modern weapons would win out over bow and arrows, but they could have fought off westeners for another hundred years, but they had there own battles they were fighting at the time amongst each other, one of the biggest autrocities is what America did to the Cherokee Indians forcing them out of the Carolinas despite the fact that they set up government and learned our language according to our laws. (trail of tears)
Have we compensated them enough, probably not, but look at the slave trade and the evils people did right up to the 1960,s. I am Glad on the day of Judgement I only have to answer for my life and actions, and not
what others did.
The Day will come...
Cherokee nation is one of my favorite songs from the 60's
If you agree humanity began in any other location than North America and spread outwards, then EVERYONE invaded America, successively. And they are still doing it, actually.
The Indians STILL would have lost, but at a faster pace, as the illness that Europeans brought with them would have swept all resistance away. It was disease that killed off the Indians more than anything else, they could not defend against it.
I prefer the term " conquered ".
it all began in Góbekli Tepe
Who's "we" You have a squirrel in your pocket ?
Separate names with a comma.
