Thanks, I did find out later. ChaoMi.cc is reporting the same at ¥508 RMB ($80 USD). I wasn't aware that it has surpassed the com.cn category.

Yesterday was huge market attack, someone bought more than 1000 Chinese LLLL.nets.
During the day price went up from 375 to 520 yuan.
Not sure what they were trying to do, may be buy all the names they could score to cause price jump?
Assuming that there's only 5200-5500 names available for sale and supply is strictly limited because of company that bought 30000 and keeps them as investment it was effective.
With the pace of 1000+ sales/day supply if only enough for 4-5 days.
No wonder sellers changed the prices and only 115 sales so far today.
Still it's fast pace of buying. Won't be surprised that with this kind of pressure we will see price of 800-1000 yuan by the end of the year.
I mean, last price i see is 570 already there's still 70 days to go and supply enough for 25 days of 200 per/day sales.

I concur with you Djum. I believe these are the same people snatching everything from DropCatch since the past three drops.

Cheers to everyone who invested early on these. :)

Lowest on GD Expiring today was $60 + renewal, and meanwhile XXZX has broken $300 in Extended.

Yep. Another crazy thing that out of remaining 5046 western premium LLLL.net domains available yesterday (https://www.namepros.com/threads/premium-llll-net-countdown-2015.882216/page-10#post-5061648), today apparently almost 5000 were registered, with currently just ca. 100 or 200 left (https://www.namepros.com/threads/premium-llll-net-countdown-2015.882216/page-14#post-5064179)

Did you track any other sales from today

@grina All caught at DropCatch were Standard ordered; I believe that 2 (?) went to public auction. So $59+ on those... Now that will have to become 2 or more ordering all of them to come into alignment with the market. And as I said in an earlier post, we'll start to see more of them in Public auction. DropCatch typically catches 1/3 to 1/2 of the daily drops on these.

GD Expiring today:
xxzx.net $301 (36 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/20
slzr.net $83 (18 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/20
cxkd.net $95 (18 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/20
bmnh.net $75 (17 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/20
fpjh.net $60 (12 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/20
hzjd.net $85 (18 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/20

Pretty good

Just to expand on that a little: the guy buying (uncontested) at DropCatch for $59 right now is getting a 20%-30% discount vs. GD Expiring, and in a liquid name like a LLLL.net (Chinese) that gap will have to close -- in other words, it makes too much sense for others to also order for $59 now, nothing to lose -- what happens: Oh no, I got one (or more) for $59!? A good problem to have, no risk given prices fetched elsewhere right now.

Interesting points. Thank you

How can you tell that the dropcatch backorders are the standard $59 and not discount backorders?

3 people backordered BCCX.net at $69 on NameJet.

Competition is skyrocketing.
Used to see 2 bidders per private auctions for chinese premiums on NJ.
Today at least 10.
5 put a backorder on dropcatch for MMBM.net now it is public :)

kchf.net $73 (13 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/21
bwyt.net $55 (9 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/21
sdph.net $85 (17 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/21
myhw.net $105 (18 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/21
qrfw.net $85 (18 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/21
nfss.net $165 (25 Bids) $12 Closed on 2015/10/21

The "Y" names get left behind sometimes on GoDaddy, because a CCCC filter screens them out.
