Ak-47 trademark issues?

Hello, is ak-47 a trademark issue? if i decided to start a company with "ak-47" in it, would there be problems? thanks.

No there will be no issue with that. ak47 is not a registered company trademark as far as i am aware! Especially in usa!

ak 47 is a type of gun. I dont think there is any specific company that makes this type of gun so no.

ak47 is made by russia and as far as i know illegal in usa. So i really doubt they will care for any tm issues!

ak-47 is also TM'd... see the post... ak-47 is the last on the list. Also, the removal of a "-" does not frustrate the claim of "confusingly similar" that the holder could claim.
