I’ve been holding AiSubbing.com for almost a year now.

To me, it’s a brandable domain name that hits the sweet spot between a keyword exact-match and a catchy startup name.

Obviously, AI video tools, translation, and auto-captioning are huge right now, so this felt like a solid two-word descriptive domain for that niche.

Dynadot gives it an automated appraisal of $22,184. I know those bots can be generous, so I'm looking for a realistic human perspective here.

Do you think this has mid-xxxx potential to an end user? Or is it more of a reseller hold?

It makes sense if you look at the current state of the video industry. Subbing is the common term for subtitling in the industry. I see AiSubbing.com as a premium, highly relevant name for the wave of new AI tools handling subtitle generation and localization. It’s a two-word brandable that tells the user exactly what the software does.

I see. So it's not really a brandable, more an exact match domain (EMD).

When I search for "subbing", the results are dominated by dictionary entries, including a BDSM definition. There are no advertisers or organic business listings on the first page, which most often suggests the term isn't ideal for this market.

Though I'd not register it myself, I would put a BIN of $4,999 on it, and pray someone is interested. Don't aim too high. Good luck.

It's not a brandable, it's a descriptive, I've never heard of "Subbing" but if you've done the research and know the market, perhaps it has some value but probably much lower than you think.
